Utah home lit with permanent outdoor LED lighting at dusk

Privacy Policy

What we collect when you ask us for a quote, who we share it with, and how to tell us to stop.

Effective September 7, 2026

The short version

What we collect. Your name, phone number, email, home address, and what you want done — the things you type into a quote form. Plus a record of the permission you gave us to contact you.

Who we share it with. The software we run the business on — our CRM, our email sender, our web host — and the ad platforms that showed you the ad. Nobody buys it from us, because we don’t sell it.

How to make it stop. Reply STOP to any text from us, or email info@brightlylighting.com and ask us to delete you. We do it, and we don’t ask why.

Mobile information is not sold or shared

Brightly Lighting maintains strict privacy policies, ensuring that personal information and mobile information of our users and members is not sold, shared, rented, released, or traded to third parties for marketing/promotional purposes.

That includes your phone number and your text-message consent. Neither is ever passed to anyone else for their own marketing.

Who we are

We install permanent outdoor LED lighting on homes along the Wasatch Front. Brightly Lighting is a brand of Brightly Home, a registered DBA of Brady Ward Enterprises.

This policy covers brightlylighting.com, the quote forms and chat widget on it, the lead forms we run on Facebook and Instagram, and the calls, texts, and emails we send you afterward.

Questions about any of it go to info@brightlylighting.com or (801) 980-9788.

What we collect

What you give us

  • Your name, email address, and phone number.
  • Your street address, so we can quote the actual house.
  • Project details — what you want lit, and roughly how big the home is.
  • How you heard about us.
  • Anything you type into our chat widget, or send us by text or email.

Your consent record

When you check the box agreeing to be contacted, we store a record of that agreement: the exact wording you agreed to, a version tag for that wording, the date and time, your IP address, your browser’s user-agent string, and the page you submitted from. That record exists for one reason — so we can show that you asked us to contact you, and when.

What we collect automatically

  • Pages you viewed, and how you got here.
  • Device and browser type, and an approximate location from your IP address.
  • Server logs, which include IP addresses, kept by our hosting provider.

How we collect it

  • The quote form on our contact page and inside the cost calculator.
  • The floating quote widget that follows you around the site.
  • The chat widget in the corner of the page.
  • Facebook and Instagram lead forms. If you tap one of our ads and fill out the form without leaving the app, Meta collects your answers and passes them to us.
  • Calls, texts, and emails you send us directly.
  • Automatically, through analytics and advertising tools, while you browse.

How we use it

  • Preparing and sending your quote.
  • Scheduling a site visit and your installation.
  • Doing the install, and supporting the system afterward.
  • Sending service messages — appointment confirmations, arrival windows, warranty and follow-up.
  • Occasional marketing about our own lighting services, which you can stop at any time.
  • Understanding how the site is used, and whether our ads are working.
  • Meeting our tax, accounting, and legal obligations.

We don’t use your information to build profiles for anyone else, and we don’t hand it to data brokers.

Calls, texts, and email

How you opt in

You opt in by checking the consent box on one of our quote forms, or by submitting a Facebook or Instagram lead form carrying the same consent language. That box is the only way onto our text list — we don’t add you from a phone call, a business card, or a purchased list. Consent is not a condition of purchase. The wording next to the box reads:

I agree to receive calls, texts, and emails from Brightly Lighting about my project at the number and email I provided, including via automated technology. Consent isn't a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. See our Privacy Policy at brightlylighting.com/privacy.

What we text you about

Quote details and follow-up, scheduling and appointment confirmations, arrival windows on install day, warranty and service updates, and the occasional promotion on our own lighting services.

How often

Message frequency varies. Most messages cluster around your quote and your install; outside of that, expect no more than a few promotional messages a month.

Cost

Message and data rates may apply for messages sent to you from us and to us from you.

Stopping the messages

You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Simply text STOP to any message from us. We send one confirmation that you have been unsubscribed, and after that we won’t text you again unless you sign up a second time.

Getting help

Reply with the keyword HELP for more assistance, or reach a human at info@brightlylighting.com or (801) 980-9788.

Carriers

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Email and calls

Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link at the bottom. To stop phone calls, tell us — on the phone, by text, or by email — and we note it.

Who we share it with

We share your information with the companies that run parts of our business, and only for the job each one does:

  • Brightly CRM (api.brightlyai.app) — stores your lead record and consent record, and powers our follow-up messages and the chat widget.
  • Resend — delivers the notification and transactional email we send.
  • Railway — hosts this website and keeps server logs, which include IP addresses.
  • Vercel Blob — stores the photos in our gallery. No visitor information goes there.
  • Google — measures site usage and ad performance through Google Analytics and Google Ads.
  • Meta — delivers and measures our Facebook and Instagram ads, and passes lead-form submissions to us.

We also share information if the law requires it, if someone’s safety is at stake, or if the business is ever sold — in which case the buyer inherits this policy. That is the whole list. We don’t sell your information, and we don’t rent or trade it.

Advertising, cookies, and tracking

This site runs three measurement and advertising tools. Each sets cookies in your browser:

  • Google Analytics 4 (G-1DRL6MHG0P) — counts page views and tells us which pages people actually read. Sets _ga and _ga_* cookies.
  • Google Ads (AW-17941053933) — tells us which ads led to a quote request, and lets us show ads to people who visited. Sets _gcl_* cookies.
  • Meta Pixel — does the same for our Facebook and Instagram ads. Sets _fbp and _fbc cookies, and reports page events back to Meta.

How to opt out

Meta’s role

Meta — Facebook and Instagram — delivers our ads and measures how they perform. If you fill out one of our lead forms without leaving the app, Meta collects your answers and passes them to us, and we handle them exactly the way we handle a quote request from this site.

What Meta itself does with your information is governed by Meta’s own privacy policy, not this one.

Your choices

No privacy law currently requires a business our size to offer these. We offer them anyway, because it’s your information:

  • Ask for a copy of what we hold about you.
  • Ask us to correct anything that is wrong.
  • Ask us to delete your record entirely.
  • Stop the texts by replying STOP, stop the emails with the unsubscribe link, and stop the calls by telling us.

Email info@brightlylighting.com or call (801) 980-9788. We handle these by hand rather than through a portal, so give us a few days. We may ask you to confirm you are who you say you are before we hand over or delete a record.

This site and our services are intended for people in the United States.

How long we keep it

We keep your information indefinitely until you ask us to delete it. There is no automatic expiry — a quote request from years ago is still in our CRM unless you told us to remove it.

Ask us to delete it and we will. Email info@brightlylighting.com or call (801) 980-9788, and we remove your record and stop contacting you.

Two things survive that. If you opt out of texts by replying STOP, we keep the record of the opt-out itself — otherwise we have no way to honor it. And we keep what a completed job requires us to keep for tax and accounting purposes.

How we protect it

The site is served over HTTPS, and everything you submit travels encrypted to our CRM. Access to lead records is limited to the people at Brightly who need it, and our admin area is password-protected.

We are a small company using established providers rather than running our own servers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we won’t pretend otherwise — but if we ever learn your information was exposed, we will tell you.

Children’s privacy

Our services are for homeowners. This site is not directed to children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their information. If you think a child sent us something, email info@brightlylighting.com and we delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we post the new version at this same address and update the effective date at the top of the page. Meaningful changes to how we use your information appear here before they take effect.
